At Sendcoach, we know how much time, energy, and money families pour into the recruitment journey. Club sports don’t take many breaks, and neither do the parents and athletes behind the scenes.
As the Fourth of July rolls around, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of something just as important as that next email or highlight reel: rest.
If you’re not heading to a tournament this week, we hope you take the opportunity to slow down. Enjoy your backyard, your barbecue, your neighbors, your people. Especially those who aren’t living in the middle of the club sports grind. Reconnect with them.
There’s a lot to love (and sometimes question) about club sports. But it can also remind us to appreciate the “normal” stuff—the stuff that makes summer feel like summer.
